         Welcome to the finest solar and building energy lab in the country. Located in lively Madison, WI, the SEL experience is something that you will remember for the rest of your life. Ok, in reality, grad school is challenging, frustrating, and occasionally painful. We all work together here in the lab to help each other with research as well as to have fun together. Hopefully, you will follow in a long line of great students that do well and have a good time doing well. Your time here will fly by so make the most of it. The important thing to remember is to ask for help. If you don't know where something is, how something works, or what to do on the weekend, don't hesitate to ask. Most Solar Lab folks have come from another town, state or country so we all know how difficult a new place can be.
