Recompiling TRNSYS using the MS PowerStation 4.0 FORTRAN Compiler
In 1997, Microsoft stopped developing their PowerStation 4.0 FORTRAN compiler and sold it to Digital. Digital later sold the compiler to Compaq. Because development ceased, PowerStation does not suport a number of TRNSYS 15 features. However, by removing these features, it is possible to recompile TRNSYS under PowerStation. The features lost are Type61, Type66, Type56, userlib and the callprogram utility. Only one change to the standard code was necessary; a modified exec.for is included in the downloadable .zip file. .PDF format instructions are also included.
The .zip file can be downloaded by clicking below.
