- Subject: thermal mass in type 56
Dear TRNSYS users,
I am using type 56 in order to calculate the thermal behavior of
a building that is served by an exhaust-air heat pump which
is modelled in EES. So far I get satisfying results except of one case:
I get the same zone temperature variations for two zones
with the same h-values but with different constructions (lets say
a massive and a lightweight).
Shouldn't the thermal mass of the construction affect differently
the temperature profiles in cases of fast changing loads?
Is there any way to calculate the time-constant of different
constructions?
I would be grateful if anyone could help me.
Best Regards
Dimitra
