I don't know how u can link your model to matlab, but I think I can help u
if I send u my .TPF project: in it u can see how to read a weather file with
type 9 data reader and how to obtain temperature and relative humidity as
output...

I hope this can help u

PS: I am a final year degree student in University of Palermo too (and new
TRNSYS user)... I am designing an air-conditioning system with split, fan
coils and other equipments... If u needs help I'm here! :) Ciao!
