Type94 can basically run in both a maximum power point tracking mode and a direct connect mode at the same time. You may notice that there are outputs in Type94 for PV array voltage, current and power and for current, power and voltage at the maximum power point. The first set of outputs (outputs 1, 2, and 3) are the point of intersection between the PV's current-voltage characteristic and the load voltage (input 3). The second set (outputs 4, 6, and 7) correspond to the maximum power point.
