The plot style is saved in a file called DeckName.pti. If you open that file with a text editor you can set the third value in the first line to 0 for a white background or 1 for a black background. You can set the fifth value in the first line to 1 for thick plot lines and 0 for thin plot lines. Unfortunately, there is no way to control these values from the deck but once you set them for a given input file, they are remembered between runs.
