Instructions to rebuild the main TRNSYS DLL (TRNDll) are in Volume 8 of 
the documentation (Programmers guide), section 8.6.10. ("Instructions to 
rebuild TRNDll.dll with Compaq Visual Fortran 6.6")

If you want to use your Type in an external DLL in UserLib (which makes 
it more convenient to share with other users), instructions are in 
section 8.6.11. ("Instructions to add a new project to the CVF66
workspace")
