Type 80 - SCRECHIL ================== NUMERICAL SIMULATION IF A TWIN-SCREW CHILLER IN PART LOAD REGIME Routine SCRECHIL deals with the part-load operation of a screw chiller equipped with a slide valve. Its purpose is to indicate the chiller operating mode in order to reach a set point on the evaporator exhaust water temperature. There are two main ways to reach the set point: 1) By cycling between ON and OFF regimes. 2) by modulating the cooling capacity by means of the slide valve. The ON - OFF regime is simulated by a simple linear combination of two steady-state regimes. The chiller is also assumed to work with only one compressor and the cyclic losses associated with the ON - Off regime are not considered in this model. Input, Output and Parameter descriptions are in the *.for file. For More details, see the HVAC1KIT manual. For a complete description of the routine, reference the HVAC1KIT manual, prepared by; Jean Pascal BOURDOUXHE and Marc GRODENT, Research Assistants. Jean LEBRUN, Principle Investigator.
