Type 99 --- COMBCH ================== ADIABADIC COMBUSTION CHAMBER MODEL. The purpose of routine COMBCH is to allow a very simplified study of the combustion process that takes place inside the combustion chamber in order to calculate : -The fuel-air ratio f; -The adiabadic temperature of the combustion products Tgsu ; -The composition of the combustion products ; -The enthalpy of the combustion products Hgsul. The combustion chamber model allows one to make use of the fuel lower heating value (FLHV) defined at a given reference temperature (Tt). The condition to have an adiabadic combustion is : Qdotg = Qdotr - Qdota - Qdotf where -Qdotg is the heat transfer in the postheater; -Qdotr is the heat transfer in the isothermal reactor; -Qdota is the heat transfer in the air preheater; -Qdotf is the heat transfer in the fuel preheater. Input, Output and Parameter descriptions are in the *.for file. For More details, see the HVAC1KIT manual. For a complete description of the routine, reference the HVAC1KIT manual, prepared by; Jean Pascal BOURDOUXHE and Marc GRODENT, Research Assistants. Jean LEBRUN, Principle Investigator.
