Dry Steam Injection Humidifier by Shauna Gabel and Michael J. Brandemuehl This model was adapted strictly for use with the TRNSYS Program by the Solar Energy Laboratory. This subroutine calculates the outlet air temperature and humidity ratio for a constant pressure process where dry steam is injected into an air flow stream increasing the humidity of the air. The outlet humidity ratio is limited either by the steam flow rate or the saturation efficiency. The outlet humidity ratio cannot exceed the saturation efficiency times the saturated humidity ratio at the outlet conditions. Developed at the University of Colorado at Boulder.
