Re: trnsys and linux

trnsys users,

I understand that it is possible to run TRNSYS under LINUX. There are some hints about this in the SEL/TRNSYS hompage.
Beyond that:

Has anyone from the user group tied to compile and run trnsys on linux. If so:
- is the calculation speed higher or comparable to windows based simulations ?
- what compilers are recommended ?

It is trnsys 14 so type56.obj could be compiled specifically.
There are two possible computers to run on linux: PC or SUN/SPARK.

Any suggestions are appreciated.
