Dear Peter,
The current TRNSYS release (15.3.00) allows you to run a simulation with
another online plotter window still open. You can also run simulations
in parallel, for different projects of course (otherwise your output
files will be mixed-up). You should be careful if your simulation uses a
call to an external program (e.g. EES). In that case, some problems may
occur because the external program is only closed when you exit the
online plotter.
I believe the problem that crashes TRNSYS when an other online plot is
still open was fixed with TRNSYS 15.2.00.

Is there a possiblity, with version 15, to strart a new simulation when
there is one already running or alternatively to start a new simulation
after the previous one is finished but the online plotter window still
displayed?
