Selim,
The IISiBat proforma is correct and the TRNSHELL Type index is
incorrect. In TRNSYS 14, there were a number of additional radiation
processor modes for the case where you only have total horizontal
radiation data available. These additional modes were removed with the
release of TRNSYS 15. If you have beam (Ib) and diffuse (Id) radiation
available, you should use radiation processor mode 3.
Kind regards,
David

Hello Dear trnsys users
Please check in trnsys 15 if you want to get the information of
Type 16 from (1) Trnshell>Help>TRNSYS index> Or
from (2) IISiBat>Physical Phenomena>Radiation Processors , you will
find dissimilar modes value are given for same mode condition. TRNSYS15
manual shows the same as (2).
Why it is so?
For example : Let say I want to chose Horizontal radiation mode : Ib and
Id are inputs
So in case (1)Trnshell>Help>TRNSYS index> the
value stands as 6 but
in case of (2) IISiBat>Physical Phenomena>Radiation Processors or
manual the value is 3. :)
So which value is correct one?
Best regards
Selim
