Simulation Timestep

Dear TRNSYS users,
Is there a way for a component to 'know' what the
simulation time step is during the first call to it in
a time step? For example, if my simulation is starting
at hour 24 with a time step of .5 hours, how can I
relay the time step of .5 to a component during the
first time step within the simulation?
