Presim 4.0

The goal of the updates planned for Presim 4.0 is to give the user full control over the drawin so that it can be customised to their needs. The new features will enable users to create new styles of drawings.

Multi-Connections: These are connections that can contain one or more "signals" between two units. Which signals are to be included in the connection can be defined either when the logical connection is defined or at any stage thereafter. To make this feature versatile, the following

• one or more signals in the connection
• one or more multi-connections between any two components
• connections can be placed anywhere on the symbol icons
• the path of the connection can easily be altered
• the graphical style of the connection can be customized.

Macros: These will be sub drawings of the main drawing and will enable the user to reduce the number of visible components. The sub-drawings will be linked to the main drawing but will also be able to be stored seperately in a library.

Show/Hide Markers and Labels: The user will have the ability to either switch on (or off) the unused labels and markers or the used ones in order to make the drawing look "cleaner."

Improved Symbol Library

Windows filenames: Users will no longer be restricted to 8-character DOS filenames.
