Isabelle, for the purpose of a variable clothing factor I created a small macro (attached to this mail) consisting of a type 55 and several equations which determine clo depending on the mean value of the ambient temperature for the working hours of the last month. Just connect the ambient temperature of your weather data to the type 55 input and you will get a shifting clo over the year. You can adapt the equations by using different clo values for the thresholds I set. ISO 7730 would be a good source concerning questions of comfort (PPD, PMV...). Maybe sombody has got a better idea for realizing a variable clo? Setting up a schedule would be a much easier solution but does not regard the ambient temperature at all.
