Re: Error in small time step



Louis,
   When you use a short timestep one of the things that the radiation 
processor must do is to take radiation data (usually on an hourly basis) 
and construct a realistic radiation profile for the smaller timestep. Many 
of the correlations in Type 16 are appropriate if you are using for example 
a 15 minute timestep based on hourly data but begin to break down beyond 
that. One common solution is to use a timestep that is of the form 1/(2^N) 
where N is an integer. At any rate, however, you should not get a Range 
Check error. I would suggest that you contact your distributor with your 
specific input file and see if they can help. I believe that would be me - 
so if the above suggestion doesn't work, please send me the input file and 
whatever weather and other external files might be required to run your
