RE: Simple question

Eduardo,

The most frequent causes of this problem are:

- You installed Trnsys in a incompatible folder
The installation folder must be X:\Trnsys15, where X can be any drive on your computer.

- One of the Trnsys DLL's is missing in your \Trnsys15 folder (Trnlib.dll or ExtDLL.dll)

- An additional library that you linked calls a DLL that is missing.
To check this, please rebuild Trnsys using the default workspace provided with your installation.
(It might also be a good idea to download the latest version from our web site)

- One of the system DLL's is missing in your Windows system folder.

Sometimes, this error message is also caused by an insufficient paging file size.

To help you to solve this problem, you can use the LoadTest utility attached to this message. This program tries to load a DLL and gives you detailed information about the process.

Please copy this file to your \Trnsys15 folder and run the following command line in "Command prompt mode":
loadtest trnlib.dll /l /d

Here is the result I get. By comparing this with your results, you should be able to find the problem. For example, if the GLU32.dll file is missing from your computer, loadtest.exe will generate an error after loading MSVCRT.DLL

C:\Trnsys15>loadtest trnlib.dll /l /d

I'll try this 'not too technical approach'. Thanks again,

Eduardo
