- Subject: How to use the solar radiation processor
Dear TRNSYS users,
For the first time of my life I made a simulation of a house on the southern
hemishere (Auckland, New Zealand). The latitude of Auckland in -37 °. When I
use the solar radiation processor (type 16) I see that a South orientation
has the most solar radiation and this is not what I expected, because on the
southern hemishere a North orientation receives the most solar radiation.
For a South orientation I use a azimuth of 0 ° and for a North orientation I
use 180 °, just like I do for simulations on the northern hemishere. Is this
wrong ?
With kind regards,
Maurice Jong.
