Hi Alfred,

I have had a similar problem to overcome in my research. I may be making
your problem more complicated than it need be, but my solution to this has
involved writing a new TRNSYS component which describes the operation of
the solar thermal collection system seperately from the type 56 model. 

Output data from the new model, simulating the solar thermal collection
system, includes the 'useful thermal energy gain' collected by the solar
panels and the 'zone input thermal energy', which simulates the thermal
energy flow through the collector construction into the building. 

The type 56 model describing this system contains no information about the
solar panel wall on the building. The 'zone input thermal energy',
calculated from the new model, can then be simply inputted into the type 56
building as zone heating.

I don't know if this will be of any help but please get in touch if you
