I would like to know if anyone tried to simulate a geothermal heat
exchanger pipe with connection to a heat pump. Is there any type available
for the geothermal use and how can I connect it with the heat pump?
We have performed numerous geothermal heat pump simulations using TRNSYS
and have written and/or obtained many of the components required to
properly simulate these systems. We have packaged these components into a
geothermal heat pump library add-on for TRNSYS. The package may be ordered
from any TRNSYS distributor and order forms and a detailed description of
the library may be found at www.TRNSYS.com - follow the ordering
information link. If you are interested, I can also send you as detailed
report on our simulation and calibration work for Ft.Polk Military Base;
currently the largest GHP project in the world.
Also, I would like to know which type I can use for a simulation for a
PAC-unit.
Our HVAC library add-on for TRNSYS has models for the simulation of
packaged air-conditioning units - as well as numerous other heating and
cooling technologies. Follow the same link as for the GHP library.
Please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns.
