Göran Hellström at Lund University, Sweden, is probably the best in the

I also worked in the large sesonal storage projects in Sweden, but with the
MINSUN programme that was developed to speed up the calculations and used
daily timesteps as the sorage has sych a long timeconstant. TRNSYS was too
expensive for us to use on a mainframe computer at that time. Göran made
storage models for Minsun too. I still maintain the original MINSUN
programme, for internal use when it is best suitable, but I often use TRNSYS
too.
