TYPE524

Dear users,

We try to simulate a hot water tank containing a heat exchanger coil with
TYPE524.
I'd like to know the theoretical background to derive some Nu number
equations in the model.
In the case of setting "par(15)=3", three equations are shown like below.

For outside of the tude,
>> NUSSELT=C*(RA_NODE**RA_EXP)*(GF**GF_EXP)

For laminar flow in the tude,
>>
NUSSELT_HX=((((48./11.)+(51./11./(1.+((1342./PR_HX/HE/HE)**2.))))**3.)+(1.81
6*((HE/(1.+1.15/PR_HX))**1.5)))**(1./3.)

And for turbulent flow in the tube,
>> NUSSELT_HX=0.023*(RE_HX**0.85)*(PR_HX**0.4)*((IN_DIA/DIA_COIL)**0.1)

If anione know any information about it, it would be big help to me and my
team.
Thanks in advance.

Mika
