RE: extDLL.for

Laurent,
If you are running TRNSYS 15.2.07 or above (the full install, just not
Trnsys.exe - This may be confusing!), ExtDLL.for is included in
\Trnsys15\UserLib.

If you don't have that file, you can just ignore that step as long as you
already have an ExtDLL.dll file in your Trnsys15 folder. The compilation of
ExtDLL.for is only described for the sake of completeness. ExtDLL is a
skeletton for an external DLL that is called by TRNSYS (e.g. if you would
want to use a routine which is not written in Fortran).

In the instructions for CVF 6.6B on the web, section 4.3. is the place where
you can add extra Types. For example, if you wish to add your "Type123"
which is in \Trnsys15\MyTypes, you can:
- In the project, create a "MyTypes" subfolder in "Source files"
- Browse to that folder, right-click and select "add files"
- Browse to \Trnsys15\MyTypes and select "Type123.for"

Subject: extDLL.for

Hello,
I'm trying to recompile TRNSYS according to the instructions from the SEL
web site.
In the 3.3 chapter I have to select ExtDLL.for, but this file doesn't exist
on my computer.
How can I do?
Is this step necessary to add new components?

Thanks

Laurent
