  We have written a lot of HVAC components, some of which are available in a library that we sell and some of which are still in-house. We do have a few compressor models and I believe that there is a pressure relief valve among the standard components. If you can give me some more information about what exactly you are trying to do, then perhaps I can give a better suggestion of what models might be best suited. I will send you a document containing a list of all the components in the HVAC library but will send it to you directly so as not to fill up everyone's mailbox



- Is there any component libraries which can help me? (The objective of my simulation project is to build a HVAC system, obtain the enery consumption, the properites of the refrigerant used, etc.)


TRNSYS does have some limitations when it comes to simulating refrigerant systems. Often times when looking at refrigeration, you need to simulate on a very small timestep and TRNSYS v. 15 is somewhat limited in this regard. Also, TRNSYS does not contain a huge amount of thermophysical data for refrigerants. However, by exploiting a connection in TRNSYS with either EES or REFROP, you can obtain the data that you need to perform detailed, transient refrigeration studies. Again, I would be happy to discuss possibilities if you can provide me with some more specific information about your project.
