Dear Frank,
I think you refer to the use of "***" to automaticlly assign the deck file
name to an output file. To use that option, you can simply enter "***.ext"
for the external file name in IISiBat ("ext" is any file extension, e.g.
"out" or "sum"). You have to use exactly 3 stars (***).
Please note that the name will be capitalized and that opening the file in
IIsiBat using "Calculate/Open/External Files" will not work.
Regards,
Michaël Kummert

Subject: keyword
Dear TRNSYS users,
some time ago information were posted on this email list, how to simplify
renaming of output-files from simulation summaries and printers when
changing the dck-file name. A kind of key word had to be used in the
output-file name or the dck-file.
Somebody remembers the keyword and how to use it.
Thanks
Frank Fiedler
