Is it going to contain new components. Are any of TESS non-standard components going to be included?The hope/plan is that TRNSYS 16 will contain a host of new component models and with that in mind the TRNSYS development group is currently negotiating with TESS to include some of our component models in the new version. Here at TESS we are working hard on version 2.0 of the TESS component libraries - expanding each of the existing libraries (solar, geothermal, HVAC, storage, applications, and utility) dramatically and adding several new libraries (ground models (slabs, basements, radiant floors etc.), loads and structures, and possibly one or two more libraries). Version 2.0 will include full technical documentation on each of the models and include example projects, sample catalog data, etc. Version 2.0 of the component libraries will be released with TRNSYS 16 and past purchasers of the libraries will receive substantial discounts on the new version.
