Sharath,

I am not sure why you are using the instructions to create a stand-alone 
executable (versus a DLL that would be called by Trnsys.exe)
If you are just trying to add or modify a component, I recommend that 
you use the Compaq Visual Fortran workspace provided with TRNSYS in 
order to recompile the DLL.
