Re: Reg:Warning related to vartype

Dear Sharath,
Your outputs will not be affected. However, the warning is telling you that in the first case, you have connected a control function output to a dimensionless input. That should be quite fine. In the second case, an output of Type164 has the unit code SF1 - which does not seem to be a standard unit code. This output is connected to a temperature input and is expected to be in units of degrees C. You can see a list of the standard unit codes on pages 3-33 to 3-38 in the main TRNSYS manual.
Kind regards,
David

Dear TRNSYS-Users,

I am working on Renewable Energy Fuel system model. When I run the program the
warnings I get in the *.list file are

***** WARNING *****
UNIT/TYPE/INPUT/VARTYPE CONNECTED TO UNIT/TYPE/OUTPUT/VARTYPE
---------------------------------------------------------------
24 160 1 DM1 ---------> 21 2 1 CF1

***** WARNING *****
UNIT/TYPE/INPUT/VARTYPE CONNECTED TO UNIT/TYPE/OUTPUT/VARTYPE
---------------------------------------------------------------
18 2 3 TE1 ---------> 25 164 1 SF1

This problem is similar to the problem posted in mail list by Jeff Thornton
(Subject: Re: Question about warning in TRNSYS).I am just wondering will this
problem affect the final output?
