Some explanations to the mystery, for the few TRNSYS 14.2 users who did
not upgrade yet ;-)
1. Gilles' original CD version apparently includes some buggy Types,
which is why he was getting those errors. The latest TRNSYS 14.2
update (brand new from May, 1999) does not have that problem.
2. Dave's solution fixed the problem, and the "alltrndf.bat" file (which
should be used with Digital Fortran compiler) includes those
switches.
3. The problem is not related in any way to Windows XP, but you must
keep in mind that IISiBat 2 does NOT run with Windows XP (nor 2000).
4. As Dave mentions, using the visual environment (developers studio)
provides more flexibility and adds powerful debugging capabilities.
We recommend to use it for all TRNSYS versions (and if you have
CVF 6.6 and TRNSYS 15, you just have to open the included workspace
and press F7).
Kind regards,
Michaël Kummert
PS. Gilles has now started to use TRNSYS 15. How's that for an American
movie happy ending :-)

Gilles,

I have copied the param.inc file into the trnwin directory. It doesn't
work.
I can write INCLUDE 'kernal\param.inc' in all the *.for files ... but
it will need a "very" long time. And I don't remind having already
done that before.
I think you mentioned that you are recompiling using the alltrn32.bat
file... if you modify that file so that the compile commands read:
fl32 /c /I\trnwin\kernal *.for
then you are telling the compiler where to find the include files. That
might solve the problem. If not, then you may have to resort to using
the Developer Studio because in there, you can set the location of
include paths.
